In your presence I am content
Psalm 16:11
Thou will show me the path of life: in thy presence is fullness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures forever more.
To be content in God’s presence is to feel satisfied with present conditions because of God’s promise to provide our need (Philippians 4:19) even in challenging circumstances.
Philippians 4:11 says
Not that I am speaking of being in need, for I have learned in whatever situation I am to be content .
This verse gives a perfect definition of what being content in the presence of God means. You are satisfied not because you have everything but because you have learnt to adapt to every situation by God’s grace .
The Psalmist says in Psalm 16:11 that God will show us the path to life and give us joy.
How can we apply this to our lives?
– As a student learn to deal with challenging situations like feeling sick during exam time. Remember that God is able to heal you and give you the wisdom and strength to learn and pass the exam. God can do all things (Jeremiah 32:27)
– At work you cannot concentrate and work efficiently because you have problems with your electrical system at home. Lights go off consistently and it is difficult to stay in the heat. Philippians 4:19 says God can supply all your need. Pray for God to help you resolve the issue
-In your ministry as a christian you are not able to win as many souls as you wish to. Do not fret or worry, continue your ministry work faithfully in due time God will reward your efforts with several souls Galatians 6:9
Stop worrying or complaining about your problems, learn to dwell constantly in the presence of God by frequently offering praise , worship and thanksgiving to God. Psalm 100:4-5
God be with you

Prayer
Meditate on the words to this song
I will enter His gates with Thanksgiving in my heart
