Praise is a powerful weapon for the christian
Psalm 149:5-6
Let the saints be joyful in glory: let them sing aloud upon their beds
Let the high praises of God be in their mouth, and a two-edged sword in their hand.

A weapon is a tool of attack or defence in the time of war. Referring to “praise” as a powerful weapon presupposes that as christians we are constantly in a spiritual battle. We cannot see our opponent but he can see us.

This makes spiritual warfare very difficult. Ephesians 6:11-12 says
Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil
For we wrestle not against flesh and blood but against principalities and against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

Praise is one the of the weapons we have or part of the armour of God. Unlike , the other weapons it has two edges ,”two-edged” sword. It defends and attacks at the same time, as the passage from
Psalm 149:5-6 says.

Beloved in the Lord, even if we do not want to fight, we have no choice because the devil is attacking us 24/7.

If you do not fight, you will be destroyed, study Ephesians 6:10-18 carefully and know your spiritual weapons of attack and defense.

Pray them into place each morning before you step out. Without these weapons you cannot be a victorious Christian who excels in your studies, career and ministry as an ambassador of Christ
God be with you.

Suggestions for success
1. Reflect on how you can use your spiritual weapons. Never forget to use them in the time of trouble.
