Prepare for His coming
Hebrews 11:7
By faith Noah, being warned of God of things not seen as yet, moved with fear, prepared an ark to the saving of his house; by the which he condemned the world, and became heir of the righteousness which is by faith.

The verse above reminds us once again of Noah’s story. Noah unlike the people of his time listened to God’s warning and prepared for the coming disaster.

In the new testament , there is the story of the ten virgins. The bible says five of them were wise and prepared adequately for the coming of the bridegroom, the other five were foolish and did not prepare fully and were turned away from the feast. (Matthew 25:1-13)

It is important that, you and I prepare adequately for the second coming of the Lord so that we are not disqualified.

Matthew 25:13 says
Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh.

What do you do when you are watching for the coming of the Lord?
You keep yourself busy, fulfilling the great commission and obeying all God’s commands in order to please Him and glorify His name.

…….be thou faithful unto death and you will receive the crown of life ( Revelations 2:10)
God be with you.

Suggestions for success
1. As you plan for the year 2022:
– Begin by reflecting on what you did in 2021 as a student, worker or ambassador of Christ.
– Determine how you can let the beauty of Jesus be seen in every area of your life.
-List some specific things you will like to do to prepare for the coming of the Lord e.g.maintaining your integrity at school, work and in your ministry.

Prayer
Let this be your prayer

Let the beauty of Jesus be seen in me
All His wonderous compassion and purity
Oh thou Spirit divine
All my nature refine
Till the beauty of Jesus be seen in me
Amen
