The Lord is Spirit
2 Corinthians 3:17
Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.

The verse above gives one very important characteristic of the Spirit of God.

It says where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty. If you go into any christian gathering and you feel uneasy or you do not sense freedom in the spirit. It could be a sign that the spirit of the Lord is not present.

John 4:24 tells us that:
God is Spirit, and those that worship Him should worship in spirit and in truth.

If you want to have the presence of God or the Spirit of God in your service then your worship must be genuine and sincere.

Christian student, christian worker and man or woman in ministry in order to be an effective ambassador of Christ be genuine and sincere in all your endeavours.

Our mission as Christians is given in Isaiah 61:1
The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me; because the Lord hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek: He hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of prison to then that are bound
God be with you

Suggestions for success
1. Think carefully about how you worship and serve God . How can you make it more genuine and sincere?
2. You could
-Try and concentrate on how you sing, listen to the word and give your offering.
– Do not allow your thoughts to wander

Prayer
Let this song be your prayer

Spirit of the living God
Fall afresh on me
Break me
Melt me
Mould me
And fill me
Amen
