We are more than conquerors
Romans 8:37
Nay in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him that loved us.

A preacher described the expression “more than a conqueror” as having or being handed the victory when you did not take part in the fight.

This describes what Jesus did through His death and resurrection for mankind. He suffered and died then went to hades and took the keys to hell and death. Then He resurrected giving us power and victory over all things. He handed over the “title” to us when we took no part in the fight.

Revelations 1:18, says
I am He that liveth, and was dead; and behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death

Being born again or accepting the gift of salvation makes you more than a conqueror because Romans 8:37 says
We are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.

As you struggle with your assignments as a student, worker or ambassador of Christ remember Jesus Christ has given you victory in all things. Therefore you can do all things through His strength. (Philippians 4:13)
