A grateful heart
1 Thessalonians 5:18
In everything give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you

Saying thank you to God or being grateful for the many blessings we receive from God is very important.

In Luke 17:11-18 a story is told of Jesus healing 10 lepers. Only one came back to thank Him and He asked
…were not 10 healed? But where are the nine?

In the verse from 1 Thessalonians 5, we are encouraged to give thanks in everything, this the will of God or this is God’s desire.

If we want God to bless us more in 2022, then we have to learn to show our appreciation for all He does for us.

To excel as a student , worker or ambassador for Christ we have to cultivate the habit of thanking God for every little success we achieve and also thank Him for the victory He will give us in the areas we are struggling.

How can I show my gratitude:
-If you pass an exam or test thank God through prayer and songs of praise. Give a thanks offering if you can
– When you fail in an assignment, pray and ask God to give you more wisdom to do better next time. Then thank Him in advance for passing the next assignment.
-At work, thank God when you are promoted through prayer and songs of praise. Give a thanks offering if you can
-When you produce a bad proposal that causes your company to lose a contract. Apologize to your superiors. Pray and ask God for wisdom to do better next time and thank Him for the grace to produce a better proposal.
– Apply the same principle in your ministry as an ambassador for Christ.

Learn to thank God in good times and in bad times then you will not quench the Spirit as 1 Thessalonians 5:19 says .
God be with you
