Be not terrified by your adversaries
Philippians 1:28
And in nothing be terrified by your adversaries: which is to them an evident token of perdition, but to you of salvation, and that of God.

A man of God once said the opposite of faith is fear or terror. Faith activates the power of God. Fear however, activates the power of the evil one.

As a child of God you should not entertain fear in your life. You should always have faith. As Hebrews 11:6 says:

But without faith it is impossible to please God; for whoever comes to God must believe that He is, and He is ,,a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him ( paraphrased)

The verse from Philippians 1:28 says “in nothing be terrified of your adversaries…” In my opinion this means that we should behave like the three Hebrew boys who were put into the burning furnace in Daniel 3:14-30. In Daniel 3:16-18 they say:

…Oh Nebuchadnezzar, we are not careful to answer thee in this matter. If it be so, our God whom we serve is able to delivers us from the burning fiery furnace, and He will deliver us out of thine hand, Oh king
But if not, be it known unto thee king that we will not serve thy god…

This is great daring faith. How many of us can be so bold? And God did save them

As a student do not fear or get nervous when final exams are drawing near. Have faith that you can do all things through Christ who strengthens you (Philippians 4:13). Learn as much as you can and leave the rest to God.

At work when the accounts do not balance and your employers are ready to punish those involved in fraud. Do not fear, have faith that God will prove your innocence. Account for all you are responsible for and leave the rest to God. …do what is right in the sight of everyone,( Romans 12:17)

In your ministry as an ambassador of Christ strive to be an example to the believer’s as the Apostle Paul admonished Timothy to do (1 Timothy 4:12). Even in the midst of danger have faith
God be with you

Suggestions for success
1. Ask God to fulfill 2 Timothy 2:7 in your life

For God hath not given us a spirit of fear; but if power, and of love, and of a sound mind.

Prayer
Dear Lord, increase my faith even in the face of terrifying situations.
Amen.
