What do you have in your hand?
Exodus 4:2-3
And the Lord said unto him, What is that in thine hand? And he said, A rod
And He said, Cast it on the ground. And He cast it on the ground…..

God has a purpose for each of us. He is counting on us to reach out to the unsaved (Matthew 28:19-20)

However, we usually give excuses like Moses did when God called him to help deliver the Israelites from slavery in Egypt.

First He said He could not speak eloquently. Then he said he needed a sign to convince the Israelites. God says, what do you have in your hand?

God is asking each of us the same question today . What do you have in your hand? He can use whatever you have big or small to enable you preach the gospel

As a student, you may have your books, provisions or pocket money. You can ask God to use any of these things to help you fulfill your ministry. For instance your textbooks can help you explain a subject to a friend and lay the foundation for you to preach the gospe.l

Workers have cars, income, skills etc. which can also be used to reach out to the unsaved. For example you can give a co-worker a lift and through conversation during the journey lead him/her to Christ.

Galatians 6:2-3 says
Bear one another’s burdens…..

Be willing to lose or sacrifice your possessions to prompt the gospel. As you give unto God and others you will be blessed and rewarded greatly.
God be with you

Suggestions for success
1. Think about all the things you have at your disposal that can help you promote the gospel.
2. Make specific plans on how to use them.

Think about the words of this song

…… what’s that you have in your hand?
I can use it, if you’re willing to lose it
Take the little you have and make it grand
I am Elshaddai
I will more than supply your need
Amen
