Secret place
Psalm 91:1-2
He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most high, shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty

Most dictionaries would define “secret place” as a place or location hidden from other people.

“Secret place” in biblical terms is being in the presence of God. It is secret because:
– not all people have access to it. It is only those who have been saved by the blood of the lamb that have access.
-even with those who are saved it is still secret because God deals with us in different ways based on His will and timing.

The bible says in James 4:8 that
Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. Your experience in the presence of God is based on your sincerity and faithfulness.

John 4:24 says
God is spirit and those that worship Him must worship Him in spirit and in truth (sincerity).

When you dwell in the secret place of God you experience God’s power of protection and provision (shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty).

As you perform your duties each day as a student, worker and ambassador of Christ, remember to spend time in the presence of God frequently to receive strength, wisdom, protection and have your needs met.

If the Lord is your shepherd (keeper and provider) you shall not lack. Psalm 23:1

Suggestions for success
1. Consider your activities in the past week. Set times within your daily agenda that you can dwell in presence of God to receive strength, wisdom and direction to improve your work output

Think about the words of this song

He that dwelleth in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty
And I will say of the Lord
He is my refuge
And my fortress
My God in Him will I trust
Amen
