The Lord is my light and my salvation
Psalm 27:1
The Lord is my light and my salvation, whom shall I fear? The Lord is the strong hold of my life, of whom shall I be afraid?

The ” Lord is my light and my salvation”means the Lord is the source of all goodness and light (wisdom or direction) in my life.

He provides my needs , directs, strengthens and helps me in all I do.

When I face challenges He helps me through, therefore, I do not need to be afraid.

As a student, worker and ambassador of Christ, the world expects a lot from us. The bible says in Hebrews 12:1 that we are encompassed about by a great cloud of witnesses. Therefore let us cultivate the habit of turning to God, “Our light and salvation” to help us lay aside every weight and sin that prevents us from being good examples to the people around us.
