Three score and ten ( 70 years)
Psalm 90:10
The days of our years are threescore years and ten; and if by reason of strength they be fourscore years, yet is their strength and labor and sorrow; for it is soon cut off, and we fly away
The verse above indicates that humans have a short life span ( at least 70 years or a little more) Therefore, we need to make the best of the time we have.
On the average, you spend the first 23-30 years in school. Work for about 30 years or a little more, hustling to balance your career with raising a family.
After pension, you are almost getting into “extra time” and your strength is low.
That is why the Bible says remember your creator in the days of your youth. ( Ecclesiastes 12:1) Though during this time you are struggling with your studies, career and family life it is the best time to do God’s work
Dear student, worker and ambassador of Christ make the best of the time you have as a student and worker. Combine your studies and work life as best as you can
Do everything to the glory of God. Matthew 5:16 says
Let your light so shine before men that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.
God be with you.
Suggestions for success
1. Pray for grace and strength to excel in all you do.
Song for meditation
Let this hymn be your confession and prayer
Lord in the fullness of my might
I will for thee be strong
While runneth o’er each dear delight to thee should soar my song
Oh choose me in my golden time
In my dear joys have part
For thee the glory of my prime
The fullness of my might
Amen
