Wait for the Lord!!
Psalm 27:13-14
I would have fainted unless I had believed to see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living
Be strong take courage and wait for the Lord…
In the passage above the Psalmist says the only thing that has kept him is his confidence and belief that God will surely make a way.
To “wait for the Lord” is to patiently look forward for God to move on your behalf or answer your prayers.
Waiting for God to move takes a lot of faith and endurance because God moves or works in His own time.
You cannot change God’s timing because He knows your past and your future and He knows what you need most at every point in time.
Scripture says in Ecclesiastes 3:11 that
He makes all things beautiful in His time.
Dear student, worker and ambassador of Christ, in order to excel in your circular responsibilities ( school and work) as well as your spiritual responsibilities you have to learn to look forward to the move of God.
How do you do this? You wait with prayer and thanksgiving as well as having a positive attitude or hoping for the best.
Scripture says in Habakkuk 2:3-4 that
…though the vision tarries, wait for it for it will surely come to pass.
God be with you
Suggestions for success
1. At the end of each week thank God for the successes He gave you and continue to thank Him for positive results for those that have not yet materialized.
Prayer
Let this song be your prayer
I will lift up eyes to the hills
From whence cometh my help
My help cometh from the Lord
The one who made heaven and earth
He will not suffer your foot to be moved
The Lord is your keeper….
My help, my help
All of my help cometh from the Lord
Amen
