Stay FOCUSED!!!
Joshua 1:7
Be strong and very courageous. Be careful to obey all the law Moses my servant gave you, turn not to the right not to the left…….( Paraphrased)

To be “focused” is to direct a great deal of attention and interest towards a particular aim.

To “Stay focused” on the things of God therefore, is to direct all your attention and interest towards pleasing God.

The verse above says be strong and very courageous ( be bold) and follow all the commands of God. Do not deviate or move away from God’s commands because they are difficult to follow (turn not to the right or to the left).

This implies that God is aware that there are some things that will be difficult to fulfill like ” Love your neighbor as yourself” ( Matthew 22:39-40)

How do you genuinely love people who are difficult to love ( do not appreciate anything you do and find fault with all you do)

That is why God says in Psalm 37:4
Delight yourself in the Lord , and He shall grant you the desires of your heart.

Meaning, I know it is difficult to do but obey it gladly and I will greatly reward you.

As a student, worker and ambassador of Christ, there will be that student, colleague or convert that will be difficult to deal with but John 16:33 says :”…..Be of good cheer for I have overcome the world”

Implying, pray for grace from me to overcome because I have already been able to conquer such situations.

Continue to obey my commands, do not avoid some of them because they are difficult to follow- STAY FOCUSED!!!
God be with you

Suggestions for success
1. Consider your activities during the week. Identify areas you need grace to overcome and pray for God to help you excel in these areas.
