The ways of the Lord are right
Hosea 14:9
Who is wise, and he shall understand these things? Prudent, and he shall know them? For the ways of the Lord are right, and the just shall walk in them…….

The “ways of the Lord” refers to the manner in which God moves. These ways can be found in the bible.

For instance we know from the word that:
– When we delight ourselves in the Lord or obey His commands He will grant us our heart’s desires ( Psalm 37:4, John 15:7)
-When we study and memorize the word of God and apply it to our lives, He will give us good success and prosperity.
– When we call on the Lord through prayer He will answer us and direct us on what to do ( Jeremiah 33:3) etc

In the verse above the Prophet Hosea stresses that the Lord’s ways are always right. Even when we do not receive the expected answer to prayers, we can be sure that God will work all things together for our good eventually ( Romans 8:28)

For example as a student you may have to write a referral or re- write an exam. It is not the desire of any student to write an exam several times. But look at it this way, the more you learn the same thing it sticks better. Who knows that may be your area of specialization in your career later in life.

A worker will not like his/her boss to correct her report or memo several times. But look at it this way, the more you read and make corrections you become a better writer. Who knows, you may be asked to prepare and present a report at an international forum some day and this prepares you.

In ministry, there are people you will have to pray for, and repeat the salvation message several times before they get saved. Do not get stressed, you may be helping the world’s next Billy Graham or greatest evangelist.

The Apostle Paul says in Philippians 3:1 that:

….To write the same things to you,( or to do the same thing over again) to me indeed is not grievous, but for you it is safe.
God be with you

Suggestions for success
1. Think over your activities in the past week. Especially those times you had to repeat an action or re- do an assignment. Pray for grace and strength to learn and take note of important issues and information.
