Daily Word

Abide in me
Psalm 28:7
The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusteth in Him, and I am helped: therefore my heart greatly rejoiceth; and my song will I praise Him

In the verse above, the Psalmist is saying that the Lord is his everything or all in all. He gives him strength or energy, He shields or protects him and He helps him, therefore , he will rejoice and praise the Lord.

What is the Lord to you? Do you call on Him only when you need help or you thank and praise Him always and dedicate your life to serving Him?

The Lord should be your all in all

John 15:7
If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you

Abiding in me as Jesus directs means to remain in a constant relationship with Him. When you do this, you find favor with Him and you will receive whatever you ask of Him.
God be with you

How can I apply the word to my life?
1. Study the word of God and do what it says.
2. Maintain your relationship with God by praying, studying the word and obeying what it says.

Prayer
Dear Lord, help me to maintain a constsnt relationship with you. Amen
