Abide under the shadow of God
Psalm 91:1-2
He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most high shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in Him will I trust

Abiding under the shadow of the Most High or God is being in the presence of God. Being surrounded by God. Why is it important to abide under the shadow of God?

When you abide in the shadow of God you are in the presence of God and surrounded by God:
– All His goodness and mercy is at your disposal.
– He is your refuge and fortress, in His presence you are protected from the evil one

The bible says, in the presence of God, there is fullness of joy. (Psalm 16:11)

John 15:5
I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit, for without me you can do nothing.

How or what should we do in order to abide under the shadow of God?

Like the verse from John 15:5 says we must obey the commands of God and seek to please Him in all we do(abide in the Lord , John 15:7)

How can I apply the word to my life?
1. Study the bible thoroughly and obey or do all that it says

Prayer
Let this song be your confession

He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most high
Shall abide under the shadow of the Most High
And I will say of the Lord
He is my refuge
And my fortress
My God in Him will
I trust
Amen
