All power belongs to God
Psalm 62:11
God has spoken once; twice have I heard this; that power belongeth unto God

Power is the ability or capacity to influence or direct activities in an individual’s life or the course of events in the world.

In this world there are different kinds of power, electrical power which enables electrical appliances to function, countries like the United States, United Kingdom etc which are referred to as economic super powers which direct financial and economic activities in the world, nuclear power used as weapons of war etc.

There is also spiritual power:
– Power from the evil one and his principalities and powers
– Power from the Almighty God

Power from the Almighty God which is above all other powers as the verse from Psalm 62:11 says.

The power of God:
-Exalts or glorifies God (Psalm 46:10)
-Heals ( Isaiah 53:5)
– Able to do all things ( Ephesians 3:20)
– Delivers the oppressed ( Isaiah 43:1-3)

Revelations 19:1
And after these things I heard a great voice of much people in heaven saying, Alleluia; Salvation, and glory, and honor, and power, unto our Lord God

This verse from the new testament affirms that the power of God is above all. Let’s keep trusting Him, He will not let us down.
