Anointing fall on me
Isaiah 61:1
The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me, because the Lord hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; He hath sent me to bind up the broken hearted, to proclaim liberty captives
and the opening of prison to them that are bound.

The anointing gives special power and enables a person to do the work of God. It stirs up the power or stimulates the power of the Holy Spirit who dwells within you as a christian.

Anointing can be done by spiritual leaders with the pouring of oil over your head or on your forehead.

Sometimes, anointing is done by God ( spiritually) like that of the Prophet Isaiah in the verse above.

The bible says, ” the anointing breaks the yoke” ( Isaiah 10:27) Meaning the anointing gets rid of anything or any weakness within you that stops you from fulfilling your ministry. It also sharpens or highlights the strength within you to fulfill your ministry. In addition to this the anointing gives deliverance from bondage.

Spiritual leaders have to anoint everyone that is called or nominated to take a high office in church.

To fulfill your personal ministry, pray for God to anoint you in a special way.

1 John 2:27
But the anointing which ye have received of Him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in Him.

This verse from the new testament confirms that the anointing sharpens the strengths within you. It says, “you do not need anyone to teach you…”
The Spirit of God will teach and direct you.
