Be glorified
Isaiah 43:7
Even every one that is called by my name: for I have created him for my glory, I have formed him; yea, I have made him

To glorify God is to make Him look good, loving, merciful and gracious. The verse above says, God created us for His glory.

How can you glorify God? Matthew 5:16 says
We should let our light so shine before men that they may see our good works and glorify our Father in heaven (paraphrased)

Some of the good works we can do are:
– Giving to the poor
-Sharing our possessions, food, clothing, time and money with others.
-Caring about your neighbor so much that you invite him/her to accept Christ as saviour and experience the blessings and goodness of the Lord.

1 Corinthians 6:20
For ye are bought with a price: therefore, glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God’s

Another reason we have to glorify God is because He has bought us with the blood of His beloved and only Son.

It is important therefore that we keep our bodies pure and stay away from sins that defile our bodies.

How can I apply the word to my life?
1. Each day think about what you can do to make other people happy and glorify God.
2. Pray for grace and strength to do the things you want to do.
