Be prepared to preach the word always
Job 28:28
And unto man He said, Behold, the fear of the Lord, that is wisdom; and to depart from evil is understanding

To fear God is to have respect and reverence for God such that you cannot think of disobeying Him or contradicting His instructions.

In the verse above Job says the fear of God is the beginning of wisdom.

One of the major commands in the bible is winning or drawing others into the kingdom of God ( Matthew,28:19-20).

In order to obey this command all Christians have to be ready at all times (at work, school, in a bus or taxi, in the market or grocery store, at a party etc.) to preach the word.

2 Timothy 4:2
Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season ; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all long-suffering and doctrine

This verse from the new testament, emphasizes the issue of preaching the word at anytime and anywhere.

We should be able to use the word or gospel to correct, advice, direct caution and prompt others. By doing this we can win more people into the kingdom of God

How can I apply the word to my life?
1. Study the word thoroughly so that you can use the appropriate verses to win people from all over the world and from other religions

Snatch them in pity

Weep or the erring one
Lift up the fallen
Tell the poor wanderer
A Saviour has died
