Bear one another’s burdens!!
Ecclesiastes 9:11-12
The race is not to the swift, neither is the battle for the strong….for time and chance happeneth to them all

Christians are quick to judge. A brother or sister seems to be at fault. Everyone is accusing that person. Have you found out why? Or do you continue to accuse and judge?

The verse above from the old testament is trying to point out that to err is human.

The race is not to the swift nor the battle to the strong. We all come across circumstances that cause us to deviate from the expected path. That is “time and chance” or accidents or reflex actions etc.

Galatians 6:2
Bear one another’s burden

The verse above says ” bear one another’s burdens” meaning try and appreciate and understand what a brother or sister may be going through.

Truly hurt alongside a person going through a challenge. Do not complicate things through false accusations, backbiting and malice.

Instead, try to find a way of lessening the burden and helping the person overcome the challenge.

The bible says in Proverbs 17:17 that :
….a friend loves at all times and a brother is born for adversity.

There are countless number of people who have renounced their faith because christian brethren failed to help in time of adversity but complicated issues.

Scripture says in Luke 17:1-4 that:

Woe unto him who causes a brother to sin because of his/ her actions……( Paraphrased)

Let us genuinely love one another.

How can I apply the word to my life?
1. Love your neighbour as yourself.

For love is of God
And everyone that liveth
Is born of God
And knoweth God
He that liveth not
Knoweth not God
For God is love
