Breathe on me!!
Numbers 6: 24-26
The Lord bless thee and keep thee. The Lord cause His face to shine upon and be gracious unto you. The Lord lift up His countenance upon you and give you peace.

In the creation story of Genesis 1, God breathe into man to give us life. Therefore, when you ask God to breathe on you , you are asking for more strength, more energy, more anointing and more inspiration.

The passage above is the blessing that most ministers pronounce on their congregation after service each Sunday. It is aimed at activating the Spirit of God to “breathe on us” Strengthen and sustain us till the next Sunday service.

Scripture says in 2 Chronicles 16:9) that

The eyes of the Lord move to and fro throughout the earth to show Himself strong in the behalf of those whose heart is perfect towards Him.

Meaning, God keeps close watch over His children in order to rise on their behalf when they need Him.

Acts 2:1-2
…..and suddenly there came a sound like a rushing mighty wind and filled the room ( paraphrased)

This verse from the new testament is trying to show how the Spirit of God can breathe on us.
He can come like a mighty rushing wind.

Or He can drop an idea in your thoughts, verse of scripture in your thoughts, a song or feel His presence and strength.

You can begin each day by saying

Breathe on me
Breath of God
Fill me with life anew
God be with you

How can I apply the word to my life?
1. Pray for the breath of God whenever you feel weak and inadequate.
