Call to the youth
2 Chronicles 34:1-2
Josiah was eight years old when he began to reign, and he reigned in Jerusalem one and thirty years. And he did that which was right in the sight of the Lord, and walked in the ways of David his father, and declined neither to the right nor to the left.
There are several examples of young people that God used greatly in the bible. We have people like King Josiah who is mentioned in the verse above. At 8 years he was made king and he ruled for over thirty years. He could not have ruled that long if he was not a good leader.
The young widow Ruth is another example, the young virgin Mary the mother of Jesus, the young man Timothy, the Apostle Paul’s assistant etc
God can use young people who are ready and willing to work for Him and have the right attitude and lifestyle.
1 Timothy 1:2
Unto Timothy, my son in the faith: Grace, mercy, and peace, from God our Father and Jesus Christ our Lord. As I besought thee to abide still at Ephesus, when I went to Macedonia, that thou mightest charge some that they teach no other doctrine.
As a young man or woman find a mentor who is well established in the work of God. It could be your parents, Pastor or elder in church.
Today, pray and ask God to sanctify you and set you apart for use as a vessel who will spread the word of God.
Older people who are ready and willing to work for God should also pray and dedicate their life to God.
God be with you
How can I apply the word to my life?
1.Spend time each day praying and studying the bible to prepare you for your ministry.
2. Volunteer for work in church you know you can do by the grace of God.
Prayer
Let this be your prayer:
Use me, use me
I want you to use me, use me Lord
I am available for use
So use me
Set me on fire and use me Lord. Amen.
