Cast your bread upon the waters
Ecclesiastes 11:1
Cast thy bread upon the waters: for thou shall find it after many days

Another translation says be generous, invest in acts of charity. Charity yields high returns.

The Preacher, King Solomon admonishes us to give to charity. Charity has high returns because Jesus said
whatsoever you do to the least of thy brethren, that you do unto me.(Matthew 25:40)

Giving to God has unlimited returns, Luke 6:38 says
Give and it shall be given to you, good measure, pressed down shaken together and running over.

Matthew 10:42
And whosoever shall give drink unto one of these little ones a cup of cold water only in the name of a disciple, verily I say unto you, he shall in no wise lose his reward.

The verse above re-echoes what Jesus said in Matthew 25:40)

Be generous, give willing to the poor and for the work of God. Freely have ye received so freely give. (Matthew10:8))
God be with you.

How can I apply the word to my life?
1. Whenever you receive your salary or pocket money, set some aside to give to the poor and needy.
2. Do not forget to take your 10 percent tithe as well for the church.

Give, and it will come back to you

Give, and it will come back to you
When you give, give to the Lord.
