Psalm 27:4
One thing have I desired of the Lord and that will I seek after, that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the Lord and to inquire in His temple

To be dedicated to the service of God is to give all your attention and effort to the work of God

The Psalmist in the verse above says his utmost desire is to dwell in the house of God all the days of his life.

Dwelling in the house of God all the days of your life involves
-being present in church whenever there is a meeting, mid-week service, prayer meeting, church service and all church events like musical concert etc
– Engaging in other christian activities outside the church like soul winning, crusades,
Medical mission etc
– Having personal time with the Lord, quiet time, personal praise and worship times, bible study, fast etc

In general delight yourself in the Lord …..Psalm 37:4

Hebrews 12:1-2
Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so
a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us and let us run with patience the race that is set before us,
Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.

When you are dedicated to the work of God you ensure that you live above reproach or criticism by the help of the Holy Spirit who lives in you.

Stay away from all activities that will compromise your faith and trust the Lord to help you through
God be with you

How can I apply the word to my life?
1. Stay faithful to the Lord in all you do

Let this hymn be your prayer

Take my life and let it be
Consecrated Lord to thee
Take my moments and my days
Let them flow in ceaseless praise
