Do not build dividing walls
Proverbs 17:17
A friend loveth at all times, and a brother is born for adversity.
If we are going to win the whole world for the Lord, then we have to present a united front as Christians.
Think about the words of this song:
Sometimes it is hard for me to understand
Why we pull away from each other so easily
When we are all walking the same road
Yet we build dividing walls between our brothers and ourselves
But I do not care what label you may wear
If you belong to Jesus
You belong with me…..
We should not allow our differences in belief or doctrine separate us as Christians. Once Christ is the centre of our faith we should work as one.
We should love one another and offer our help to each other in times of adversity.
John 17:21
That they may be one, as thou Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world might believe that thou hast sent me.
Jesus said if we are one as the Father and Son, then the world will believe us because we do not allow our differences to separate us.
Some time ago, the charismatic society in Ghana organized a Unity crusade. I was one of the representatives from Harvest Chapel International. From my point of view it was very successful. A choir was formed with singers and instrumentalists from different churches. Representatives from different churches also handled other parts of the programme.
I believe more of such programmes will unite churches in Ghana and other parts of the world. It will also help win more souls.

How can I apply the word to my life?
1. There should be more Unity crusades, that present not only the word and songs but provide food, clothing and medical care.
2. As individuals, young and old we should find ways of meeting needs within our financial ability when we go out to win souls.
Prayer
Dear Lord, thank you for your great love and mercies. Help us come together as Christians to win souls, so the world will believe you have sent us. Amen.
