Draw me from fear into faithfulness
Joshua 1:9
Have not I commanded thee: Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be dismayed: for the Lord thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest

Every christian I believe has a calling (Matthew 28:19-20). We are all called to win souls. God has given us gifts and talents for this purpose.

However, we have certain traits or characteristics that make it is seem we are unqualified for the job and therefore puts fear in us

God is aware of these inabilities yet He called you:
– Moses was a stammerer but God used him greatly (Exodus 4:10)
-Jeremiah was very young but God used him greatly too,(Jeremiah 1:6)
– The Apostle Peter was a coward but God used him to build the church(Matthew 26:75)

There are many more examples so do not use your inabilities as an excuse for being unfaithful to God. God knows what He put in you, He knows you can do the job if only you can overcome your fears.

2Timothy 1:6-7
Wherefore I put there in remembrance that thou stir up the gift of God, which is in thee by the putting on of my hands. For God has not given us a spirit of fear; but of power, and of love and of a sound mind

This verse from the new testament says God has not given us a spirit of fear. Why?

Because the bible says in
1 John 4:18 that fear has torment. It will cripple you and make you unfaithful.

Ask God to help you overcome your fears and step out in faith to fulfill your ministry.

1. Pray and ask God to help you overcome your fears and serve Him faithfully
