Psalm 139:23-24

Search me, O God, and know my heart, try me and know my thoughts, see if there be any wicked way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting . Just as King David

The year 2020 will soon come to an end and just as shops and companies take stock, we should also review what we have done throughout the year. King David asked God to search and try him and lead him on the right path. We as Christians and children of God we need to do the same as the year ends. Then we will know what to do and stay away from in 2021.

2 Corinthians 13:5
Examine yourselves to see whether you are in the faith, test yourselves. Do you not realize that Christ Jesus is in you- Unless of course you fail the test.

In addition to taking stock of our life we need to test our faith. Do we love and serve God faithfully? Answer this question for yourself.

How can I apply the word to my life?
1. In order to take stock of your life properly, consider the most successful things you did and also those tasks you were unable to complete.
2. What can you do to improve things in 2021. For example if you failed an exam, what can you do to improve your performance?
3. If you wasted all your time playing video games instead of finding time to share the gospel with others. Then in 2021, plan your day and set time for everything including wining souls.

Prayer
Lord of all creation, let this generation see a visitation of your power. Amen.
