Faithfulness is the mark of a good steward
Lamentations 3:22-23
The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases, His mercies never will come to an end. They are new every morning, great is thy faithfulness

A steward is someone who is put in-charge of an estate or society. All christians are stewards or ambassadors of Christ. We are God’s representatives here on earth and we are required to glorify the Lord in all we do to attract others to the kingdom of God (Matthew 5:16).

1 Corinthians 4:2 says

Moreover it is required in stewards, that a man be found faithful.

Being faithful involves:
– Obeying all God’s commands and living to please Him (Deuteronomy 28:1-2)
– Offering our bodies as a living sacrifice unto God and being ready to do the will of God no matter what it costs ( Romans 12:1-2)
-Taking good care of souls we win for the kingdom of God (John 21:15-17)

Revelations 2:10

…. Be thou faithful unto death and I will give thee the crown of life.

This verse from the new testament admonishes us to do whatever it takes to obey God and do His will at all times.

1. Pray for grace and strength to be a faithful witness.
