Fight the good fight of faith
Psalm 119:133
Order my steps in thy word: and let not any iniquity have dominion over me

“The good fight of faith” is a figurative expression for the christian life. Ephesians 6:12 says , we constantly wrestle or fight against principalities. To be able to win this fight we need God to order our steps in His word.

To order your steps in God’s word involves living according to what the word says
For instance you have to:
-Pray without ceasing (1 Thessalonians 5:17)
– Study the word ( 2 Timothy 2:15)
-Preach the word to save souls (2 Timothy 4: 2)
-Do good deeds (Matthew 5:16) etc

1 Timothy 6:12
Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses.

Doing all the things listed above is not easy because the flesh or our human desire do not always fall in line with what God wants us to do.

If we ask for God’s help, He will give us the grace and strength to do what we are required to do as Christians.

1. Do not take any step in life without seeking the Lord’s help and direction
