Daily Word 🇬🇭

Forever Grateful
Psalm 103:1-2
Bless the Lord Oh my soul and all that is within me . Bless His holy name
Bless the Lord, Oh my soul, and forget not all His benefits

To be “forever grateful” is to be eternally thankful for what God has done for you.

The passage above says,

Bless the Lord Oh my soul and forget not all His benefits.

Meaning the Lord has done so much for you that you cannot forget it.

Psalm 149 and Psalm 150 give praise to God for His mercy and goodness. Psalm 150:6 says
Let everything that hath breath praise the Lord. Praise ye the Lord.

If you are eternally thankful to God then you have to learn to praise Him always.

1 Thessalonians 5:18
In everything give thanks for this is the will of Christ Jesus concerning you

This verse from the new testament directs us to give thanks for everything. It does not matter if the unexpected happens.

Once you know, God can work all things together for your good (Romans 8:28). Thank Him for everything.
God be with you

How can I apply the word to your life?
1. Praise and Thanksgiving to God should fill your heart and song when you wake up each morning and before you go to bed each night.

Prayer
Think about the words of this song

You did not wait for me
To draw near to You
But You clothed Yourself
With frail humanity
You did not wait for me
To cry out to You
But You let me hear Your
Voice calling me

I’m forever Grateful to you
I’m forever Grateful for the cross
I’m forever Grateful to You
That You came
To seek and save the lost
Amen
