FORGIVE
Proverbs 17:9
Whoever forgives an offense seeks love, but whoever keeps bringing up the issue separates the closets of friends.

To forgive is to pardon someone or prevent yourself from holding a grudge against anyone who offends or hurts you .

When you forgive someone, you do not keep reminding him/her of the offense or error committed.

Hebrews 8:12 says
God will forgive our wickedness and will remember our sins no more.

As humans we may not be able to completely forgive and forget about offenses depending on the severity of the offense. But time can heal our wounds, if we pray for the strength and grace to forgive and forget.

Luke 1:37 says
For with God nothing shall be impossible.

Matthew 6:14
For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you

Forgiving others helps heal our wounds and prevents us from being bitter. Like the verse above says when we forgive those who offend us, God also forgives us our sins.

The Lord’s prayer says
…..and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us. ( Matthew 6:12)

How can I apply the word to my life?
1. Ask God help you to forgive. Love your neighbor.

Lord help me to forgive whenever I have to .
