Give

Ecclesiastes 11:1

Cast thy bread upon the waters: for thou shall find it after many days.

This verse is encouraging     Christians to give. If you give, “you shall find it after many days”. That is, you shall reap the harvest or benefits later.

Luke 6:38 says

Give, and it shall be given unto you;

good measure, pressed down and shaken together and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure you give it shall be measured to you again.

This is a verse in the new testament repeating what the verse in Ecclesiastes said. This implies that it is very important to give in order to be blessed. Learn to share whatever you have with those around you especially those in need.

God be with you.

How can I apply the word to my life?

1. Learn to share your time, money, and material possessions with those who need them.

2. Learn to give to God, praise, thanksgiving, and worship on a daily basis.

3. When you do this you will be blessed. The blessing can come as healing, deliverance from accidents, and other attacks and material possessions as well.

Prayer

Loving Father, thank you for your abundant blessings on my life. Help me to learn to give and share my possessions with those who need them. Amen.
