God is a covenant keeper
Deuteronomy 7:9
Know ye therefore that the Lord thy God, He is God, the faithful God, which keepeth covenant and mercy with them that love Him and keep His commandments to a thousand generation.

A covenant is simply an agreement between two people. God has a covenant with all His children to fulfill all the promises in the bible.

For example Isaiah 40:30-31 says
Even the youth that are supposed to be filled with energy and enthusiasm grow weary but they that wait on the Lord shall renew their strength……

This is a promise and God will honour this promise even to a thousand generations after us as the verse above says.

Luke 22:20
Likewise also the cup after supper, saying, This cup is the new covenant in blood, which is shed for you.

Jesus also made a covenant with us which we honour whenever we take communion.

Whenever we take communion let’s remember what Jesus did for us on the cross and do our part as faithful Christians.

How can I apply the word to my life?
1. Remember always that God a covenant keeper and once you do your part , He will also honour His promise.
