God is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him
Genesis 15:1
After these things the word of the Lord came unto Abram in a vision,* saying, fear not Abram,: I am thy shield, and thy exceeding great reward.

In Genesis 14, Abram helped the King of Sodom and Gomorrah to defeat his enemies and recover men(including his nephew Lot) and possessions the enemy had taken. The king wanted to reward Abram for helping him but Abram refused to take any thing.

God rewarded Abram greatly for this good deed through His words in the verse above.

In the same way God rewards all His children who do good deeds in His name and seek to glorify Him in all they do.

Hebrews 11:6
No one can please God without faith, for whoever comes to God must have faith that God exists and rewards those who seek Him

This verse from the new testament confirms that God rewards those who diligently seek Him.

God rewards those who seek Him with heaven or eternal life after life here on earth (Revelations 2:10) and abundant life here and now. John 10:10).

How can I apply the word to my life?
1. Seek to glorify God in all you do. Do good deeds and fulfill the Great commission by helping others accept the gift of salvation.
