God is great and mighty!
Psalm 95:3
For the Lord is a great God, and a great King above all gods

There is a Sunday school song that says
Great and mighty is the Lord our God
Great and mighty is He
Great and mighty is the Lord our God
Great and mighty is He
Lift up His banner
Let the anthem ring
With praises to our King
Great and mighty is the Lord our God
Great and mighty is He

The verse above says God is great and above all other God’s. Indeed like the verse from the Psalms and the song says
There is none like Him in the whole universe

Isaiah 40:17-18 says
All nations before Him are as nothing; and they are counted to Him less than nothing, and vanity.
To whom then will ye liken God? Or what likeness will ye compare unto Him?

James 1:17
Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning

This verse from the new testament indicates that God is able to do all things. Every good and perfect gift you can think of comes from Him.

He never changes or goes back on His promises (with whom is no variableness or shadow of turning). He is the same yesterday, today and forever more.

How can I apply the word to my life?
1. Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not allow difficult challenges to change your faith.

Prayer
Loving Father, help me to believe without any doubt that you are a great and mighty God who always makes a way even when it seems there is no way.
