God is holy
1 Samuel 2:2
There is none holy as the Lord: There is none besides thee: neither is there any rock like our God.

God is holy means, God is without sin:
– He is just
– Abhors sin
– He keeps His word and does not lie.
Our Father in heaven will never do anything to harm His children. He has a unique plan for each person that would make him/ her excel and reach his/her full potential. Every one of His creation is special and treated with care. He hates sin but loves all His children that is why He made the plan of salvation to redeem us all. He keeps His word, therefore, He is making provision each day to ensure that as many people as possible are saved before the second coming of Jesus.

Revelations 15:4 says:
Who shall not fear thee, Oh Lord, and glorify thy name? For thou art holy: for all nations shall come and worship before thee; for thy judgements are made manifest.

God is holy and He expects His children to be holy
(Leviticus 20:26,,1 Peter 1:16) as well.
To be holy means:
– To be dedicated to God
– To be Pious
– To be virtuous
Let us desire to holy, it is important to God, there a several scripture references in the old and new testament on this.
God be with you.

How can I apply the word to my life?
1. Determine and desire to be holy and ask God to help you achieve this, in order to please Him and glorify His name.

Prayer
Heavenly Father, thank you for the gift of life. Help me to be holy even as you are holy. Amen.
