God of wonders

Deuteronomy 25:8
And the Lord brought us forth out of Egypt with a mighty hand, and with an outstretched arm, and with great terribleness, and with signs, and wonders.

God of wonders, implies that the things God does are extraordinary and admirable. In the old testament is the story of how God delivered the Israelites from their Egyptian slave masters. He inflicted the Egyptians alone with ten plagues although the Israelites lived in the same country. He parted the sea for the Israelites to walk through and escape from the Egyptians. This is an amazing story that could pass for the Guiness book of records
Or pass as one of the seven wonders in the world today. No other deity, principality or power can perform as many extraordinary things as God did in the old testament for His people.

2 Corinthians 12:12
Truly the signs of an Apostle were wrought among you in all patience, in signs, and wonders, and mighty deeds.

In the new testament we can find stories about the miracles Jesus and His disciples did. Jesus turned water into wine and He calmed the stormy sea. His disciples Peter and John used the power of God to heal
the lame man at the temple. Ananias also used the power of God to heal the Apostle Paul’s blindness. There are many other stories. These are only a few of the wonders. We serve a great and mighty God, let us learn to give Him the praise and worship He deserves.

How can I apply the word to my life?
1. Praising and worshipping God must be a habit.
2. It should be the first thing we do in the morning and the last thing we do at night.
3. In the course of the day cease every little time you get to praise and worship God.
4. It should not only be songs and words of praise but we must seek to use everything we do to glorify God.

Amazing and wonderful God. I praise and bless your holy name. Help me live a life that pleases you and glorifies your name. Amen.
