Hallelujah, He is Risen!

Isaiah 25:8
He will swallow up death in victory; and the Lord God will wipe away tears from off our faces; and the rebuke of His people shall He take away from off the earth: for the Lord hath spoken it.

There is a Methodist hymn that says:
Up from the grave He arose
With a mighty triumph o’er His foes
He arose the victor from the dark domain
And lives forever with His saints to reign
He arose
He arose
Allelujah, Christ arose

Just like the Prophet Isaiah said in the verse above, Jesus swallowed up death in victory ( He arose the victor from the dark domain)

This Easter Sunday let’s remember to thank God that Christ rose from the dead, and He lives forever with His saints to reign. That is our hope as Christians and the basis of the christian faith.

Romans 6:8
Now if ye be dead with Christ, we believe we shall also live with Him.

Today, take time to study scripture on the resurrection of Christ (Matthew 28). It is the reason for the season.

How can I apply the word to my life?
1. Always remember that Christ lives and because He lives you can face the future knowing that He pleads daily with God to give us another chance whenever we fail.

Dear Lord, thank you for the gift of salvation. Help me to live daily to glorify your name. Amen
