Happiness is to know the Savior
Psalm 100:1-2
Make a joyful noise unto the Lord, all ye lands. Serve the Lord with gladness: come before His presence with singing

The word ” happiness” can be replaced with words like ” contentment” , or “satisfaction”. The verse above says serve the Lord with gladness and come before His presence with singing. Why? Because it is God who gives you happiness or satisfaction.

The bible says in Psalm 16:11 that
In your (God’s) presence there is fullness of joy. Joy is like having happiness always. Happiness depends on circumstances but joy comes from the Lord. It is an inner satisfaction or happiness that does not depend on circumstances. Even in difficult times the joy of the Lord will be your strength.

Philippians 4:4
Rejoice in the Lord alway: and again I say, Rejoice

This verse from the new testament says we should rejoice in the Lord always. Because it is only God that can make us rejoice even when we are in trouble.

Knowing God or accepting the gift of salvation gives us happiness.

1. Make sure you accept the gift of salvation.
