Have compassion/passion for lost souls
Jeremiah 1:5
Before I formed thee in the belly, I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet to the nations

In order to be an effective ambassador of Christ you need to have compassion/passion for lost souls. That is you need to appreciate the disadvantage of lost souls ( They cannot enjoy the benefits of being saved, eternal life of bliss with God in heaven and enjoying many blessings here on earth). (Revelations 21:1-4) They are doomed to spending eternity in hell fire where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth. (Matthew 13:41-42)

Hell is not a place you should wish even for your worst enemy. It is a terrible place. This thought should drive you and I to win souls.

Like the verse in Jeremiah says we were all born not to be prophets like Jeremiah but with a mandate to win souls.

1 Peter 2:9 says
But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should show forth the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into his marvellous light

James 5′:20
Let him know, that he which converteth the sinner from the error of his way, shall save a soul from death, and shall hide a multitude of sin

Apart from fulfilling your ministry as an ambassador of Christ, you also gain the benefit of receiving forgiveness for a multitude of sins when you win souls.

How can I apply the word to my life?
1. Pray for grace and strength to overcome whatever obstacle prevents you from going out to win souls for the kingdom of God

Tell them of Jesus the mighty to save
