He’s conquered satan
Psalm 46:10
Be still and know that I am God. I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth

To conquer is to completely defeat an opponent or completely overcome a challenge.

“He’s conquered satan” means the Lord has completely defeated Satan and his host of angels. That is why
1 Peter 5:8 says

Be sober, vigilant because your adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion seeking whom he may devour.

It says
” ….like a roaring lion”, like, meaning he just has the look but no teeth or claws to harm us
Because the Lord already disarmed him

In the verse above, the Psalmist encourages us to be still, when we face challenges. We do not have to be anxious or worry. Pray and tap into the victory Christ won on the cross for all of us

Colossians 2:15
And having spoiled principalities and powers, He made a shew (show) of them openly, triumphing over them in it

This verse from the new testament confirms that the Lord has conquered satan so we are more than conquerors because we enjoy the benefits of the victory though we did not have to fight the battle.

He’s fought the battle
And He’s won the victory
He gives new life
Tell me more about Him

His name is Jesus
He holds the future
In Him there is peace
In Him there is joy
