Hold on [July 11,2022]
Hold on
Joshua 1:9
Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the Lord thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest
Sometimes the frequency and magnitude of our challenges overwhelms us and causes us to lose hope or become dismayed.
God encourages Joshua in the verse above to be strong and of good courage. There was no need for him to fear because He was with him always no matter where he finds himself.
These words of encouragement applies to all Christians as well. Trust God to direct and guide you. He will also give you all the strength and help you need ( Isaiah 41:10)
1Peter 5:10
But the God of all grace, who has called us unto His eternal glory by Jesus Christ, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you
Just as Jesus thought of the joy that was set before Him (Hebrews 12::2) to be able to go through all that He endured victoriously, we should also set before us the joy of living blissfully with God in heaven. ( Revelations 22:1-5)
Let nothing discourage you, continue living and working for God. Endure a little more, heaven is worth every sacrifice you have to make.
God be with you
How can I apply the word to my life?
1. Trust and obey God at all times.
