I need thee every hour
Psalm 50:15
And call upon me in the day of trouble: I will deliver thee, and thou shalt glorify me

There is a hymn that says:
I need thee every hour
Most gracious Lord
No tender voice like thine
Can peace afford
I need thee, oh I need thee
Every hour I need thee
Oh bless me now my Savior
I come to thee.

Indeed we need the Lord’s help and direction, everyday and every hour or we will become victims of the devil’s evil tricks. We will fall easily into the traps he sets for us.

Ephesians 6:18
Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints

To get to know God,’s direction for the day we need to pray throughout the day. At least you should aim at praying three times a day, morning, afternoon and evening, just like you take your meals for the day

Praying at least three times a day will give you the grace and strength to successfully complete your assignments for the day.

How can I apply the word to my life?
1. When preparing your agenda for each day put in three 30- minute slots for prayer in the morning, afternoon and evening
2. Make a conscious effort to pray at the times indicated on your schedule for the day
3. If you miss a prayer time because of work, reschedule it for another time in the day
