I want to be where you are
Psalm 27:4
One thing have I asked of the Lord, and that will I seek after. That I may dwell in the house of God all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the Lord and to inquire in His temple

To want to be where God is, is to love to dwell in the presence of God, praying, studying the word and singing praises to His holy name.

This desire is expressed
by the Psalmist in the verse above. Beholding the beauty of the Lord and inquiring in His temple involves dwelling constantly in the presence of God.

The bible in Psalm 16:11 says

In the presence of God there is fullness of joy…

Therefore it important and necessary to dwell frequently in the presence of God.

John 15:5
I am the vine, ye are the branches: he that abideth in me, and I in him the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me you can do nothing.

This verse from the new testament says without God we can do nothing.
When we dwell in the presence of God He abides in us and we abide in Him.

In the presence of God we can find joy, strength and grace to promote the gospel and obey His commands.

How can I apply the word to my life?
1. Find time to dwell daily and frequently in the presence of God.

Dwelling in your presence
Feasting at your table
And surrounded by your glory
In your presence
That’s where I always want to be
