In His time
Ecclesiastes 3:1
To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven

It is very common to find Christians (those have accepted the gift of salvation) and unbelievers ( those who have not accepted the gift of salvation) complaining about unanswered prayers.

The verse above says there is a time for everything under the sun or in this world. In my opinion this implies that certain prayers are not answered because the
time is not right.

When the Israelites were living in slavery in Egypt, they prayed for God to deliver them . Deliverance came in God’s time. God planned everything and used Moses as their leader to claim deliverance. (Exodus 3:8)

2 Peter 3:8

But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.

Does this verse mean we have to wait a thousand years to get answers to our prayers? Not really. It only means you have to be patient when you put your requests before God.

It is only those who are ready to wait for God’s timing who receive the best from Him.

How can I apply the word to my life?
1. Ask God to give you patience to wait for His timing in everything you do.
