Indescribable God
Exodus 3:14
And God said unto Moses, I AM THAT I AM: and He said, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I AM hath sent me unto you.

To the human mind, everything should be describable. But when it comes to describing God, things are different.

God gives Moses an assignment. Then, Moses says how can I explain to the people of Israel that You sent me?

God says, tell them that “I AM ” sent you. Why should God describe Himself as I am?

I believe it’s because there is no appropriate words in our vocabulary to describe Him.

He is too good, too great, too kind, too loving, too marvelous, too merciful, too powerful and too wonderful.

John 15:13
Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.

Jesus is the only one who laid down His life out of love to save us all. There is no greater love than this.

God is too beautiful beyond description and too wonderful for our comprehension.
God be with you.

How can I apply the word to my life?
1. You can show that you appreciate God by loving Him with Him with all your heart, with all your mind and with all your soul. And loving your neighbour as yourself.
2. According to Jesus you will be obeying the two greatest commandments if you do what is said above. The two, sums up the ten given to Moses.

Prayer
Most gracious God, may your name be praised at all times and by all people. Help me to appreciate your love and mercy always. Amen.
