Jehovah Elohim
Genesis 2:7
And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and man became a living soul

Jehovah Elohim means Living God. The verse above says God gave us life meaning, He is also alive. How do we know God is alive?

We see evidence that God is alive all around us. Who makes the sun rise and set? Who makes the wind blow and the waves of the sea form? Who puts us to sleep and wakes us each day? God!

Jeremiah 10:10 says
But the Lord is the true God, He is the living God, and an everlasting king; at His wrath the earth tremble, and the nations shall not be able to abide in His indignation

Hebrews 11:6
But without faith, it is impossible to please Him, for he that cometh to God must believe He is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him

God is truly alive as explained above and the only way we can please Him is to accept and believe He is alive.

1. Seek to get closer to God each day. Adore, praise, thank and worship Him always
