Judge Not
Numbers 23:19
God is not man that He should lie; neither the son of man that He should repent: hath He said, and shall He not do it? Or has He spoken, and shall He not make it good?

To judge is to form an opinion or conclusion about someone based on what you have heard or seen.

The bible says that the Lord is a ” righteous God” (Psalm 75:6-7) because unlike humans He looks not at the outward appearance ( situations and circumstances that can frame a person to be guilty of an offence) but at the heart as well. ( 1 Samuel 16:7)

Therefore God is always fair and gives the appropriate judgement.

Humans however are biased. Based on family or work relations or maybe a favor received, humans can condemn a completely innocent person.

In such cases, all is not lost. God the righteous judge can completely vindicate you when you pray and trust Him to move on your behalf.

Matthew 7:1
Judge not, that ye be not judged.

This verse from the new testament says, do not be quick to judge then you will also not be judged.

Let us cultivate the habit of being true to God and our neighbors because then we fulfill the Lord’s command of loving our neighbor as ourselves

How can I apply the word to my life?
1. Determine in your heart and pray for God to help you remain true to Him and your neighbor at all times
