Justified by faith
Habakkuk 2:4
Behold, his soul which is lifted up, is not upright in him, but the just shall live by faith.

To be justified by faith means you can only receive salvation by faith and relying on God’s grace and not through good deeds.

This implies that if you give all you earn to charity, build a shelter for the homeless, pay hospital bills for the poor and needy etc you cannot get saved.

You gain salvation only by believing and accepting by faith, what Jesus did on the cross and confessing Him as Lord and master of your life ( Romans 10:9-10)

Romans 5:1
Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.

When you get saved, God forgives all our sins, and wipes your slate clean as if you have committed no sin. God washes and cleanses you and makes you as white as snow.

The blood Jesus shed on the cross is able to atone for all sins, past, present and future. Everybody qualifies to enjoy salvation and forgiveness of sin, there is nobody beyond redemption or who cannot be saved.
